Congrats to Christina & Tony!

ChristnaTony

I was off the blogging grid for a while once again, as I spent these last few weeks helping my sister & Tony get ready for their wedding.  I had a wide range of jobs, from playing the Mass music, to organizing the reception playlists.  One of the jobs I’m most proud of, is the slideshow I put together below.  I wanted to post it on my blog to share with my friends and family.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful, and I’m so happy for Christina and my new brother-in-law Tony!

Update: I’m having some trouble getting the slideshow to display, so in the meantime enjoy the Flickr pictures!

My 3rd Anniversary!

…No, it’s not Bethany and my 3rd year anniversary (although that is a month away). 3 years ago today I started blogging.  It was May 9, 2005 when I decided to start capturing my thoughts.  It was a late Sunday night (technically May 8) when I decided to toss my hat into the blogging ring.  Xanga was my medium, and I really posted as more of a form of a personal diary that happened to be readable by anyone.  Within the first year I felt like I outgrew Xanga and moved my blog to my own web host, first using Moveable Type and then moving to WordPress.

As you can tell my posting comes and goes in waves.  There are times I’m really good about posting 4-5 times per week, then there are times (like the last month) where I’m lucky to get a post once per week.  I guess that mirrors my life in ways, sometimes it’s crazy and sometimes I have a lot of opportunity to reflect.

I’ll do my best to keep things up, offer my thoughts where I can.  I’m honored that you’ve taken the time to read my random ramblings in my head, offer thoughts of your own and just be a good sounding board for my thoughts.  Here’s to more blogging…

Gone Dark

GoneDark

It’s obvious that I’ve “gone dark” over the last 10 days, pretty much staying off of the blogging grid.  My apologies for that. Between moving into the new house and getting a big term paper done, my free time has been pretty much shot.  I probably have a good weekend of unpacking and proofreading ahead of me, and then I’ll be back!  Thanks for being patient!
